Networking: the exchange of information and ideas among people with a common profession or special interest, usually in an informal social setting, often beginning with a single point of common ground.
We launched Dewing Social to provide opportunities for us to connect with farmers, consumers, and others with a common profession, in informal settings where there is no pressure or agenda. Our first idea was the podcast walk which we have decided to organise monthly, at different points around Norfolk.
This is an opportunity to take a stroll around our beautiful countryside, check out the crops, and have a chat with existing and new people, all while getting some exercise. As an added bonus, there is normally a nice pub at the end with the opportunity for a beer or coffee.
