Dewing Grain sources domestic and imported organic commodities for the feed and food industry. Thanks to long-standing links with organic producers in the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world we have a good supply base of specialist protein crops, feed, milling, and malting grains.
These are stored in strategic locations across the UK allowing delivery to be made quickly and efficiently. Through the Yaregrain facility, organic crops can be processed, cleaned, and stored eliminating the risk of rejections. With a variety of supply contracts available, we can ensure that producers receive a fair value for the crops they produce.
Rye is gaining market share in the UK food industry owing to its unique flavour characteristics. From baking to brewing, rye provides millers and maltsters with an additional ingredient to wheat and barley.
Rye performs well on poor soils, although requires careful management in both land preparation and harvesting. Dewing Grain has buy-back contracts available for specific varieties of Rye providing the grower with a guaranteed market.
